If I restart my machine or the QiPoint Essentials Service, will my scheduled jobs stop?

Solution

No. SharePoint Essentials Toolkit version 5.6.3.0 and higher will automatically attempt to continue all 'Running' jobs after a restart or if the service is interrupted (stopped). However, sometimes the Scheduled Job Logs will be truncated if the machine was restarted during the job and not displaying the full details. To View the full log details of a job that may have been interrupted, right click the site from the Home Page Dashboard and click View Logs, you will see the full detailed logs as expected.
